What we collect

When you send a lumber RFQ we receive your name, email, company, country, optional phone number, the spec you enter and the files you upload. When a supplier registers we receive company and contact details, the species, grades and products it sells and any stock list it attaches. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to count visits and form submissions.

Who sees your RFQ

Your RFQ goes only to mills or yards that fit your species, grade, thickness and paperwork, 3 at most, and only after you tick the consent box on the form. We do not publish RFQs and we do not add you to marketing lists.

If you tick the NDA box, suppliers see the spec without your company name or files until an NDA is signed.

Supplier details

We share a supplier's company and contact details only with buyers whose request we pass to that supplier. We do not publish a supplier directory.

How long we keep files

We keep RFQs, cut lists and drawings for 12 months so we can handle follow-up questions and repeat orders. After that we delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted. Email and we act on it within 30 days. Suppliers that already received your RFQ hold their own copy under their own policies.

Cookies and analytics

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics set cookies to measure which pages help buyers. You can block them in your browser without affecting the forms.
